 Re: Mischke
Pastor Kelly Web was a guest on Garage Logic and he filled in for Joe one day. I can't believe it. Pastor Kelly Web is like Garage Logic Part 2.

 Re: Mischke
Kelly Webb got his hosting opportunity the same way Mischke did. He was a caller to a radio show who was asked to step up to the studio mic.

 Re: Mischke
Mischke may be talented but this deification of him is a little nauseating.

In this way the legend of Tommy grows while the bottom line of KSTP does not. If this new CD is anything like his last musci CD, "Whistle Stop", then KSTP is not involved and will not make money off it. "Whistle Stop" was put out with the help of Mark Moeller. I do not know if this is the case with the new CD, but it is likely. Please do not encourage the burning of it if it is not attached to KSTP.

That's all they have in common, then, because this no-talent Webb should stay strictly amateur. What a joke. It's an insult to Tommy that they'd replace him with somebody so predictable and boring and with so little insight.

 Re: Mischke
I managed to listen to Kelly Webb today for 10 minutes at the most. It was embarrassing. If you're gonna send out a lack to fill the space at least throw one out who can provide a little dignity to the man sent packing.

I don't think anyone here, like the fact that Mischke is gone, but lets give this Webb a fair shake it is not is fault K-STuPid let Mischke go. Everyone is bad at first, give this guy (or whoever replaces T.M.) time before you judge!

 Re: Mischke
Wouldn't it be nice if Tommy would have had ratings. Who gives a crap, he's gone, next.

 Re: Mischke
I am in the camp of those who think he worked best at night. In all honesty he was up against serious competition at those hours. Heck, KSTP made serious hay with Limbaugh for years, and a lot of the station's listeners are over on the FM now, or at the Patriot. And even night on AM is all programmed/syndicated now. Cheaper and makes more money. Where ever he lands, lets hope its at night. KSTP, for all its faults, has for me been a source of fascinating radio. Jesse the Body as the morning guy? That was bizarre. The original Bob Davis night show with Kodiak was just as inspired. Something will come along. And Mischke will show up somewhere.
